Swack out all de barley an fother de cow.

MOTHER
To hear ye say so does so gladden ma hart,
Dat you an yer Mother Tom never woll part ;
I’ll maak ye a pudden – an baak ye a pie,
An ge ye sum porter when ya be a dry
Derry down ! &c.
UNCLE TIM
Why dat is felosophy Tom I must own,
So you by yer jurney much wiser be grown,
Per when folks have blundered felosophy says
Dey can do nothing better dan alter der ways.

TOM
No more ov yer ‘losefers, Uncle fer me,
Let dey live at Lunnun, I’ll stop were I be ;
Dey chounc’d all ma money, an ge me a squeeze,
An turn’d me out under a hay-stack to freeze.
